Beauty Salon


  • Excellent customer service abilities, communication skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships.

  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn administrative, creative, and social media software/platforms.

  • Proficiency in professionally delivering and responding to phone calls, messages, client reviews, and emails.

Work Desk


  • Greeting and welcoming customers with a smile.

  • Coordinating with artists to schedule appointments while regulating adjustments and cancelations to maintain salon's schedule.

  • Maintaining customer records.

  • Happily, quickly, and professionally answering phone calls using scripted prompts.

  • Returning phone calls and emails to answer comments, resolve complaints and respond to inquiries.

  • Training staff on new systems, policies, and practices while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of salon products and services.

  • Managing, ordering, and restocking equipment, supplies and retail.

  • Processing payments and emphasizing pre-bookings during client checkout.

  • Managing cash and drawer counts.

  • Ensuring that the salon is kept clean and organized.

  • Generating operational reports and meeting with management to develop operational, sales, and marketing strategies while assisting and encouraging team to carry them out.

  • Aiding team members and management as required.

  • Suggesting retail products while meeting or exceeding retail sales goals.

  • Suggesting up-sales, promotional deals, and additional services to clients.

  • Taking initiative in communicating strategies such as sales, marketing, issues and needs in order to improve business.
